Okay! It's been a while since I updated the newfeed. Here's a quick summary of what's new on the site.

  1. A new article up in the writing section - it's actually something I wrote back in January but was prompted to put it up here given certain recent events in my country. It'll come across as a rather bleak assessment to a lot of people I'm sure. But like another article I am thinking of writing, sometimes reality is something we don't want to face because it's... inconvenient. To quote one of the opening messages from the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network - "Searching for the truth is easy. Accepting the truth is hard." - Season 2 Episode 15
  2. A new sub-section - the changeLog. It's where you should head if you're interested in how the site is progressing, what new features are expected in future and to know what I am currently working on. You can leave your suggestions for changes and new features, feedback of past changes, or general comments such as the recent ode in praise of the Roach you penned. The changeLog can be found within the roachLab section.
Experimenting with the Open Graph protocol, I've figured out I can load the metadata it needs dynamically along with the article it's for. This is still something I haven't implemented though, but should be around soon.

I've been seriously considering converting the newsfeed into a full-fledged blog. It was always meant to be something like that. That'll allow me to share other strange things the Roach runs into in his life that may not warrant full-fledged articles in the writing section. Or should I have a separate blog section for that? Still kind of undecided about this... and my Libran stars don't help the situation.

I've also been thinking it's time to open up the art section. I have a tonne of stuff I've made over the years that I just need to dust and put up, as well as some new ideas for short cartoon strips.

Oh and before I forget, I'm pleased to announce that The incredible Roach now has 40 fans on Facebook. The Roach has only 4 arms though so please stand in queues of 10 each and wait your turn for him to shake your hand to thank you for your support. While you're waiting you can always tell more of your friends to head down to http://www.facebook.com/theincredibleroach and Like the page so that they get site updates in their newsfeed.

*waves* Oh sorry, I was supposed to use this hand to congratulate someone.
